Our Purpose
The Clark County Children’s Council’s initial purpose is to identify solutions to the child care crisis, advance equitable and inclusive policy initiatives, and transform systems to fully address the child care needs of all our children and families.
Vision
Every child and family in Clark County will have access to inclusive, sustainable, affordable, high-quality child care options that contribute to the foundation of a thriving community with long-term economic vitality for generations to come.
Mission
The Clark County Children’s Council is a unified, regional voice that builds public awareness and centers community needs, prioritizing those who are furthest from access to high-quality child care.
We advocate for immediate policy changes and financial resources to solve the child care crisis resulting in inclusive, affordable, accessible, and high-quality child care for all.
